Scarab Remote Habitation

Scarab Remote Habitation - Winner Red Dot Award 2016, The Scarab Remote Habitation is an experimental extreme condition habitation pod.  Meant to be deployed in remote arctic regions, the Scarab can house up to four people whether for scientific research or for extreme adventure sheltering, the unit can be outfitted with various interiors fitments to suit the particular intended activities. The unit is designed to be airlifted to its site and sits atop an array of pneumatically controlled insect-like legs.  This base structure serves to minimze the impact of the pod on the environment it is situated on while also allowing the pod to be deployed in environments prone to flooding or tides up to 8 feet.
