LOB Gamespace, Toronto, Canada - LOB (or Love Of Bocce) is a new take on lawn bowling.  Combining elements of traditional Italian Bocce (lawn bowling) with topographic obstacles of mini-golf, our client had devised a new game concept.  We were hired to holistically undertake the design of the entire space, the technical logistics of the playing field design, the game pieces and the interior furniture and accessories. One of the biggest challenges in this project was getting the exacting subtle topography of the playing fields correct so that it would present just the right amount of obstacle difficulty.  To this we heavily relied on Rhino3D’s softbody modeling to fine-tune each playing field exactingly.
